Java

Service menus for Java developers using KDE 4.

These service menus allow to run common tasks of Java developers like running
builds with Ant or Maven and execute or create JAR files.

Installation

  • Download the service menus: java_developers_service_menus.tar.bz2
  • Uncompress to a temporary folder: tar jxvf java_developers_service_menus.tar.bz2
  • Copy the *.desktop files into one of the following folders:
  • For all users: ${kde4-config --prefix}/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
E.g. on Kubuntu this is: /usr/lib/kde4/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
  • For the current user only: ${kde-config --localprefix}/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
E.g. on Kubuntu this is: ~/.kde4/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
