Although I don't have an USB 2.0 stick, but I experienced this problem with my Nokia 6270 cell phone, which can also act as USB storage device (great phone!). Today I found Stefan Reisingers blog, where he explains the solution to this problem.

It's a Troll!

Here is my new theme for KDE: Say welcome to Troll. I admit that it looks somewhat Gnomish, but it's still 100% KDE. KDE is built upon the QT Toolkit by Trolltech. So it has more in common with Trolls than with Gnomes. That should clarify the origin of the name. Screenshot of Troll Troll is a light and usable theme, which contains elements of Clearlooks mixed with fresh Green.

GTK File Chooser Expanded by Default

Ever felt annoyed by that stupid GTK 2.x file chooser, which hides the folders by default and you have to click on Browse for other folders each time you wish to save a file in a folder other than the few provided in that weird Save in folder drop down list?

And of course it's once again the "Users are stupid" mentality of Gnome, which even does not offer an option for the user to have it expanded by default. So I googled and found a description along with a patch for Gentoo, which expands the folders in the GTK file chooser dialog by default.

I applied this patch to the SuSE 10.0 source RPM and it works. Here is my description on how to create a RPM including the patch and for the people who trust me I also offer the patched RPMs for download.

Wordpress 2.0.2 Security Update

If you are using wordpress and haven't noticed yet. The good people released a security update.

Already upgraded, of course. No problems and the upgrade procedure description is much easier than last time.
